Following nearly 20 years on the watch, our current general manager has decided to step down, and we're now looking for his replacement.
As the General Manager for our UK branch, you will be responsible for our day-to-day operations and performance in the UK, including leading a highly qualified team of six out of our office in South Brent.
You will be working with iconic British boat-building brands such as Princess Yachts, Sunseeker, Fairline, and Oyster and be supported by and working together with a skilled and engaging international management team.
We believe the right candidate has a background in the marine industry and has solid technical insight and experience in customer service and quality work.

Tasks and responsibilities

Day-to-day management of our UK operations with P&L responsibility
- Engage directly with decision-makers of British OEMs to create new business opportunities and secure existing relationships
- Work to strengthen and expand the distribution of Sleipner products in the UK
- Ensure that technical assistance is provided to OEMs and end-users in line with the corporate guidelines and expectations
- Secure the implementation of best practices in the UK office, including introducing APQP processes towards the boat builders, proper documentation in our CRM and Helpdesk system, and more
- Cooperate closely with the Norwegian headquarter and be a sparring partner for strategy, product, and business development
The position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer of the Sleipner Group in Norway and is a part of the group's extended management team.
