Technical Sales Manager

After decades of strong growth in Croatia through a distributor, Sleipner (also known as Side-Power) is now taking the next step — establishing our own branch office. To lead this exciting expansion, we are looking for a highly motivated Technical Sales Manager who will spearhead our operations in Croatia and play a key role in shaping our future success in the region.
About the role
For the right person, this is a unique opportunity to combine your interest in boating with sales and market development. Leading our new branch, you will take full responsibility for building Sleipner’s presence in Croatia, working closely with colleagues across Europe.
You are a strong self-starter with a proven track record in selling technical products. Experience from the maritime industry is a clear advantage, but not essential if you bring strong technical know-how and business drive. You combine customer focus with hands-on competence, and you naturally identify with our values: knowledgeable, trustworthy, and future ready. The position reports to the General Manager of Sleipner Italia.
Key responsibilities
- Drive Sleipner’s growth strategy in Croatia in close cooperation with international colleagues
- Full P&L responsibility for the Croatian branch
- Build and maintain a strong network of dealers, service points, and boat builders
- Actively promote Sleipner’s product portfolio to new and existing customers
- Oversee installations at shipyards and boat builders
- Coordinate aftersales and service activities to secure long-term customer satisfaction
Qualifications

Proven experience in technical sales and market development

Strong understanding of business economics and P&L management

Hands-on technical competence

Excellent relationship-building and networking skills

Independent, structured, and comfortable working autonomously

Fluent in Croatian and English

Willing to travel across Croatia and occasionally abroad
