TP43 firmware 3.22: More control, new modes and improved performance

Firmware 3.22 is now available for the Sleipner TP43 stabilizer control panel. A redesigned interface makes the panel faster and easier to use. New operating modes and performance monitoring give you more control of your stabilizer system.

A simpler, faster interface

The new interface makes everyday operation quicker and more intuitive. Menus have been simplified, response times improved, and frequently used modes can be pinned as shortcuts for easy access. You can also customize the display to suit how you use your stabilizer system.

Monitor stabilizer performance directly on the panel

Firmware 3.22 introduces performance monitoring directly on the stabilizer dashboard.

Choose one or two parameters to follow and see how the system performs over time. The graph can display either the last five minutes or adapt to show the last five roll periods, giving you a clearer view of stabilizer performance without leaving the main display.

New and improved modes

All operating modes are now easily accessible from the main screen. For electric stabilizer systems, firmware 3.22 also introduces several new and improved functions:

  • Dock mode: Limits the outboard travel of the fi ns to a selectable limit, reducing risk of contact with docks or nearby boats when maneuvering in tight spaces.

  • Eco mode: Reduces maximum fin speed, adjustable down to 60%. Lowers power consumption and extends battery life.

  • Park mode: Moves the fins to a dedicated parking position for docking.

  • Fishing mode: Stabilizer system is automatically deactivated when the operator starts pursuing a catch.

  • Dynamic Positioning mode: Allows stabilizer system to operate even when the DP system is engaging reverse gear to maintain position. If boat is reversing faster than x knots, fins will center and lock.

  • Anchor tension control: If the fin sector limits allows it, the fins will move 180° and create a force that will put tension to the anchor chain while stabilizing.

Prepared for future integration

Firmware 3.22 prepares the TP43 for integration with the Sleipner Hybrid Power Center (HPC), our power management system coming soon.

HPC will provide real-time monitoring and intelligent power distribution across connected onboard systems.

How to update

The latest version of firmware 3.22 is free for all TP43 users. The firmware can be installed in two ways:

  • Via USB – download the firmware through the Download Manager in S-Link Programmer, then update from a USB stick.

  • Via Wi-Fi or Ethernet: Connect the TP43 to the internet and update directly from the display.
