Major software upgrade for TP43 stabilizer control panel

Sleipner has released a major firmware upgrade for the TP43 stabilizer control panel, introducing a new user interface, enhanced functionality, and additional operating modes for even greater onboard control.

A new interface for a smoother experience

Firmware version 3.0 marks the most comprehensive TP43 update since launch. Rebuilt from the ground up, it delivers a redesigned user experience, improved performance, and new operating modes for greater control at sea.

New modes for electrical stabilizer systems

The update introduces four new operating modes designed to optimize performance in different situations:

  • Fishing Mode – delivers precise low-speed control while minimizing roll during fishing.

  • Eco Mode – reduces energy consumption while maintaining effective stabilization.

  • Docking Mode – provides enhanced stability during low-speed maneuvering.

  • Parking Mode – maintains stability while the vessel is stationary or at anchor.

Users can now create customizable shortcuts to tailor the TP43 display to their preferred daily setup.

Built for today. Ready for tomorrow.

The upgraded TP43 also lays the foundation for future integration with Sleipner’s upcoming power management system, designed to provide real-time monitoring and intelligent energy distribution across onboard systems.

How to update

The update is available now for all Sleipner users and is free of charge. It can be installed easily using one of the following methods:

  • Via USB – download the firmware through the Download Manager in S-Link™ Programmer, then update from a USB stick.

  • Via Wi-Fi – connect the TP43 to Wi-Fi and update directly from the display.
